Registration Areas
Information given by users during registration to a DTG seminar, newsletter, or support may be used by Digital Technology Group for internal purposes. This information is used to contact the user about the products, services, or support on our site for which they have inquired. In some cases we ask for products owned by the user so that we may provide better service and support.

Order Information
Digital Technology Group requests necessary information from the user on our order form. When ordering, a user must provide billing and shipping information, and payment information (credit card number, expiration date, etc.). This information is used for invoicing purposes and to fulfill the customer’s order. If we have difficulty processing an order, we use this information to contact the customer.

Cookies
Cookies are text files stored on the user’s hard disk containing information about the user. If a user’s browser is set to enable cookies, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, making the browsing experience more efficient. Enabling cookies is not mandatory, however cookies can enable us to target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

Surveys & Giveaways
DTG occasionally conducts surveys or product giveaways. Participation in these surveys or giveaways is always voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), opinions, and products owned information.

Web Traffic Logs
We use IP addresses (not linked to specific personal information) to administer the site, track usage, and obtain site feedback.

Security
Digital Technology Group takes every precaution to protect our web users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, the information is protected both online and off-line. When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), the information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when just browsing non sensitive pages.
